Giants shortstop Harvey Kuenn bats against Dodgers pitcher Ed Roebuck during the 1962 National League tiebreaker to determine which team goes to the World Series. The teams finished with identical 101-61 records to necessitate the tiebreaker. The Giants would win the game but eventually lose to the Yankees in the World Series.
