Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa came up way short on the latest Hall of Fame ballot, in which the Baseball Writers Association of America chose nobody for this year’s class. McGwire received just 16.9 percent of the vote while Sosa received 12.5. A minimum of 75 percent is required for induction. (Walter Iooss Jr./SI)
