Born 140 years ago today, Honus Wagner was a member of the first class at Cooperstown and winner of eight NL batting titles, but his accomplishments with the Pirates in the early 20th century have been overshadowed somewhat by his famous baseball card. The T206 card, which Wagner demanded be discontinued after not wanting to be associated with the tobacco company that made it, sold for $2.8 million in 2007.
