Today is Valentine’s Day and there’s no better way to show your love for someone then by walking down the aisle and exchanging vows. That’s exactly what Dale Earnhardt and Teresa Houston did in Nov. 1982. Joining the happy couple are Dale Jr. and Kelly Earnhardt, who are from Dale’s previous marriage. Even at 32, Julius Erving had crazy hops. In this 1982 photo, Dr. J dunks over Larry Bird and (an unpictured) Kevin McHale during the Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Championship. Philadelphia went onto win the game but lost to the Lakers in the NBA Finals. It was 35 years ago today that the 76ers paid $3 million to the Nets for the rights to Erving. (Tony Tomsic/SI)
