Red Sox legend Johnny Pesky passed away on Monday at the age of 92. Pesky, who missed three full season (1943-45) to serving in the military during World War II, batted .307 in 1,270 major league games. He also played for the Tigers and Senators. (Damian Strohmeyer/SI)
