Track & Field: 1984 Summer Olympics: USA Carl Lewis runs to victory at the 100 meters during the 1984 Summer Olympics. Lewis won four gold medals — the 100m, 200m, 4x100m relay and long jump - during the Los Angeles games. He would go onto capture two more gold (100m, long jump) in 1988 at Seoul, two more gold (4x100m relay and long jump) in 1992 at Barcelona and another (long jump) in 1996 at Atlanta. (Neil Leifer/SI)
