In one of the lasting images of 2012, two replacement referees disagree on whether this Hail Mary was a touchdown or interception. Seattle wideout Golden Tate shoved a Green Bay defender out of the way on the final play and was awarded a touchdown for getting his hands on a ball that appeared to be intercepted the Packers. The stunned Packers, most of whom had left the field in horror, were called back onto the field so the Seahawks could kick a meaningless extra point to seal the 14-12 victory. It’s been a disappointing season for Calvin Johnson, who has caught just one touchdown so far through Detroit’s first six games. Last season, Johnson averaged one touchdown reception per game. In Peter King’s latest column, Lions QB Matt Stafford takes the blame for Johnson’s performance, saying that he needs to just force the ball more to Detroit’s star receiver. (Damian Strohmeyer/SI)
