Eighteen years ago today, Michael Jordan retired from the NBA to pursue his dream of playing professional baseball. He spent one season playing outfield for the Birmingham Barons, the Double A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, and batted .202 with three home runs and 51 RBIs. In March 1995, Jordan returned to the NBA and led the Bulls to three more championships. (Ben Van Hook/SI)
