Kentucky’s Rajon Rondo drives against Mississippi’s Bam Doyne during a 2005 SEC Tournament game. Rondo’s time at Kentucky was a mixed bag. Although the point guard averaged 11 points per game and piloted the Wildcats to the second round of the NCAA tournament in 2006 (his second and final season), it was the first of two straight seasons with double-digit losses, which resulted in Tubby Smith’s exit. SI’s Rob Dauster ranked this year’s Kentucky squad No. 1 in his preseason SEC rankings. (Wade Payne/Icon SMI)DAUSTER: 2012 SEC PrimerGALLERY: Rare Rajon Rondo Photos
