Cubs manager Dale Sveum is in the news after being shot by former teammate Robin Yount in the right ear and back with pellets during a recent quail hunt in Arizona. Sveum was uninjured and even joked around, calling Molitor “Dick Cheney” after the incident. As the Cubs manager thanks his lucky stars he wasn’t seriously injured, SI looked into its archives for photos of athletes who hunt, including Redskins legend John Riggins. (Ronald C. Modra/SI)
